This year, more than 3,975 businesses, people, and organizations from 16 Southwest Missouri counties were nominated and featured on the ballot during voting. Local residents cast over 200,000 votes for their favorites, showing incredible support for the businesses and services that keep their communities thriving.
The community nominated favorites across nine main topic areas: Agriculture, Eat & Drink, Education, Health & Beauty, Home & Garden, Motors, Services, Shopping, and Things to Do.
The top ten categories during voting, in order of popularity, were Bank, Customer Service, Attraction, Mortgage Company, Branson Attraction, Place to Work – Less Than 100, Law Firm, Beauty Salon, Credit Union, and Day Spa. These categories highlight the wide variety of businesses and services residents value throughout Southwest Missouri.
